ListingLift: AI Product SEO — Privacy Policy

ListingLift: AI Product SEO ("ListingLift", "the app", "we") is a Shopify app that rewrites product titles, descriptions, meta titles and meta descriptions for Shopify merchants. This policy explains what information the app collects when a merchant installs it, how we use it, who we share it with, and how it is deleted.

Information we collect

  • Store information: your shop's myshopify.com domain, whether it is a development store (so test stores get free test charges), and the access token Shopify gives the app for the permission you approved (write_products).
  • Product data: product IDs, titles, descriptions, product type, vendor, tags, option names and values, variant titles, SEO (meta) title and meta description, and a small product image URL for the product list.
  • Backups: for every product the app optimizes, we store the original title, description, meta title and meta description, and the new version, so you can Undo the change.
  • Billing records: the credit packs you buy (pack, price, Shopify charge ID, status) and your credit history (free trial credits, purchases and credits used).

We do not collect or store any customer data (such as names, emails, addresses or orders), and we never see payment card details. All payments are handled by Shopify.

How we use information

We use this information only to provide the app: to show your products, generate new SEO text when you ask for it, save it to your store, let you undo changes, count your credits, process your purchases, and give support.

Who we share it with

  • Anthropic (Claude API): when you optimize a product, the product data listed above is sent to Anthropic's Claude API to write the new text. No customer data is ever sent.
  • Railway: hosts the app and its database.
  • Shopify: the platform the app runs on, and the billing provider for all purchases.

We do not sell or rent any data, and we do not use it for advertising.

Data retention and deletion

  • When you uninstall the app, its access tokens are deleted right away.
  • 48 hours after uninstall, Shopify sends us a data deletion request (shop/redact) and we delete your product list and all backups.
  • We keep your shop domain, credit balance and credit/purchase history, so your unused credits are still there if you reinstall (credits never expire) and the free trial is only given once. These records contain no customer data. Email us if you want them deleted too; this also removes any unused credits.

Your rights

You can ask us at any time what data we hold about your store, or ask us to delete it, by emailing zubairtan5@gmail.com. Because the app stores no customer data, customer data requests from Shopify (customers/data_request and customers/redact) have nothing to return or delete.

Security

All data is sent over encrypted HTTPS connections. Access to the database is limited to the app and its operator.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will update it on this page and change the "Last updated" date above.
